A file on your device. A link for everyone.

Drop a file here, or choose one from your device.
MP4 · MOV · WebM / Up to 50 MBMP4, MOV, or WebM up to 50 MB. No account required. Guests can upload 5 videos per day and store up to 100 MB.
Upload your video to get a direct file link, ready for wherever you need it.
Videos are public and kept for seven days. Only upload videos you have permission to share.
A video to URL converter hosts a video from your device and gives you a direct link to the file. Share that URL in a message or document, or use it as the source of an HTML video element. Your video stays in its original format; the output is a web address, not a newly encoded file.
From file to link
Choose one MP4, MOV, or WebM up to 50 MB from your device, or drop it into the upload area. Check the preview before sharing.
Select Create video link and keep the tab open while your file uploads. Your direct video URL appears when the upload finishes.
Choose Direct URL, Markdown, or HTML, then select Copy. Test the URL before sharing it. Keep this tab open if you may need to delete the video.
Built for simple sharing
Upload once and use the same video link in messages, documents, or your own website.
Share the same video URL in several messages or documents without uploading a separate copy for each one.
We store the file you upload without re-encoding, compression, or an added watermark. Its size and playback requirements stay the same.
Copy the HTML video element or use the direct URL as a video source on a page that supports it. No separate watch page is required.
Upload as a guest and share the link without asking recipients to sign in. Anyone with the URL can access the file, so only share videos intended for public access.
Ways to share
Share a public clip alongside the message, instructions, or page it belongs with.

Share a short product demo in an email or message. Add the direct URL alongside the details your client needs to review.
Record the steps that reproduce a bug, then copy the Markdown link into your issue. Remove personal data, tokens, and private screens before uploading.
Paste the HTML video element into a page that accepts custom HTML, or use the direct URL in a video-file field. Fields limited to YouTube or Vimeo links will not accept it.
Place a video link beside written instructions in a document or course note. Test playback on the devices your audience uses.
Formats and playback
Understand what gets uploaded, how to use the result, and what to check before sharing.
A direct video URL points to the file itself. A viewing-page link opens a web page containing a player. This converter returns the file URL, ready to copy or use in your own player.
Use the direct URL in messages, documents, or a compatible video field. For a web page that accepts HTML, copy the video element from the result panel. Whether a messaging app shows an inline preview depends on that app.
Upload one MP4, MOV, or WebM at a time, up to 50 MB per file. The guest allowance is 5 uploads per day and 100 MB of stored videos. These are file-size and storage limits, not a fixed number of minutes.
For a larger clip, trim it or export a smaller version in your video editor before uploading. Renaming an AVI or MKV file to .mp4 does not convert it; export it in a supported format instead.
Choose Direct URL for an email, message, or compatible video URL field. Choose Markdown for a clickable text link in an issue or document. Choose HTML to display a video player on a page that allows custom markup.
The examples below use a placeholder address. After uploading, choose a format in the result panel and copy it with your own video URL. A Markdown link does not automatically embed a player.
MP4, MOV, and WebM are containers: the codecs inside determine whether a device can play the file. This video to URL converter stores your original file and does not transcode it, so uploading cannot fix an unsupported codec.
First open the direct URL in a new tab. If the file opens but does not play, try a compatible player or re-export it with codecs supported by your audience. If the direct URL works but your website does not, check whether its video field accepts direct files or only links from specific platforms.
Anyone with your video URL can open, forward, or save it. Upload only footage you own or have permission to share. For passwords, recipient-only access, or confidential material, use a service that provides those controls.
A few more answers
Phone uploads, sharing, deletion, and what to check when a link does not work.
No account or payment is needed for a guest upload. You can upload up to 5 videos per day, with a 50 MB limit per file and 100 MB of total guest storage. People on the same network may also share an abuse-prevention limit.
Select your MP4, check the preview, and choose Create video link. When the upload finishes, select Direct URL and Copy. You receive a link to the MP4 itself; the tool does not change it into another video format.
Use Choose video to select a saved file through your mobile browser. The same MP4, MOV, WebM, and 50 MB limits apply. Keep the browser tab open during the upload; whether your phone shows a photo library or a file picker depends on the device.
No. This tool uploads a file from your device. It does not download videos from social platforms, shorten existing links, or import a video from another URL.
No. Videos uploaded here are public: anyone who receives the URL can open, forward, or save the file. There are no password or recipient restrictions. Do not upload confidential footage or anything you lack permission to share.
Yes. Use the trash button next to the uploaded file while its result remains in this tab, then confirm deletion. Starting over or closing the tab does not delete the stored video and loses this delete control. Cached or downloaded copies may remain after the origin file is removed.
Videos are kept for seven days, then scheduled for automatic deletion. Cleanup can take longer, so a link may remain accessible briefly. Keep your original file; this is not permanent storage.
A direct URL can be pasted as a link, but an inline player or preview depends on the destination app. HTML video markup is for compatible web pages, not a guarantee of playback inside email or messaging apps.
Yes. A public direct link gives access to the file; this tool does not prevent downloading. A browser may play it or offer to save it depending on its support and settings.
Check that the file is non-empty, is an actual MP4, MOV, or WebM, and is no larger than 50 MB. Guest limits are 5 uploads per day and 100 MB stored; people on the same network may share the daily abuse-prevention limit. A storage-service error is different from a file rejection: wait and retry rather than changing the extension.
A selected-file preview is local to your browser. Share only the URL returned after Create video link finishes, not a blob address or local file path. A result explicitly marked Local development link is also not a public internet link.
Choose an MP4, MOV, or WebM up to 50 MB. Preview it, create the link, and copy the format you need.
